The
first non-singles event took place this past Saturday at Chardon Lakes
in Geauga County. As
expected, it didn’t matter what team had the best overall scores,
but who was able to pick their partner up and take advantage of the
holes where strokes were given.
Tour
veterans Bryan Corban and Dave Hawk took first place with a net 62. Perennial powers Gregg Roberts and Michael Thompson finished
two strokes back at 7-under. Tied
with them were Dennis Beno and Melissa Sikora, who enjoyed continued
success in this format that she had last year.
Finally, Chuck Nagy and Darren Parkes continued their hot play
and also finished in a tie for second place.
For the year, Chuck
Nagy maintained his place atop the Points Leaderboard.
He is followed closely by Gregg Roberts, Darren Parkes, Dennis
Beno and Dave Hawk.
