Handicapping will run by www.leaderboard.com , players will be given a handicap to start from your chapter director, once 6 tournament rounds have been entered leaderboard.com will be the default handicap used. Pier review is available for all players handicaps from each chapters "Tour results page" under "Tournament Handicap Calculation" Tab. 

Points will be given out to the winners of closest to pins, longest drives and how you finish at each event (see Schedule). The points leaderboard also determines the Ryder Cup Teams, (top 12 from each tour with the points leader as the captain) Cash and/or prizes* will be awarded to the year end Points leader board Champion and the top 3 at years end. We will use players best 6 finishes for the points leaderboard calculations!

STROKE PLAY (MEDAL PLAY) 18-HOLE EVENTS

Competition is among individuals, ranking criterion is the number of net strokes. Lower is better. Points are assigned as follows: • 2 points for every competitor beaten outright. • 5 points for every long drive victory • 10 points for every closest-to-the-pin victory • Additional bonus points for order of finish:   100   First Place     30   Eleventh Place     70   Second Place     30   Twelfth Place     60   Third Place     30   Thirteenth Place     50   Fourth Place     30   Fourteenth Place     40   Fifth Place     30   Fifteenth Place     40   Sixth Place     20   Sixteenth Place     40   Seventh Place     20   Seventeenth Place     40   Eighth Place     20   Eighteenth Place     40   Ninth Place     20   Nineteenth Place     40   Tenth Place     20   Twentieth Place   All other competitors receive 10 points.

BEST-BALL 18-HOLE EVENTS

Competition is among teams composed of two players, ranking criterion is the total score for the team. Lower is better. The Tournament of Champions will be determined by the Points Leader Board. (Top 1/2 of Chapters leaderboard qualify or 6 rounds played)

*Players that are concerned about keeping their amateur status can be given golf gift certificates in place of cash.
