Location:

The highly anticipated Battle of the Tours Ryder Cup 2018 will be played this year at Royal Woodbine Golf Club by Toronto Airport.

Teams:

Teams that are included in this years Ryder Cup are, The Mulligan Tour East (Toronto) and Mulligan Tour West (Hamilton, London). Team Handicaps will be assigned for the saturday Round based on players handicaps. Team "A" will have their best player use 35% of his handciap added to 15% of the other player. The same will be done for Team "B" with the difference being the team handicap. Sunday handicaps will apply as usual since players will be playing their own ball all day.

Cost/agenda: $265.00
(Includes $50/player to the Cash Prizes!)

Aug 17 - Practiced Round - 1:00pm - $125.00
*$20 goes to Pot! (closest to pins, long drive)

Aug 18 - Day 1 - 10:50am (Scramble/Alternate Shot)

Players Dinner - Arizona's Bar and Grill 8:00pm

Aug 19 - Day 2 - 11:05am (Best Ball/Singles)

Sundays round is combined with a Sundays Singles event which will have its own cash pot at $10/player. Lots of points to gain here as well!

Accommodations: (PREFERRED)

www.Hotwire.com will get you a great rate for a good hotel close to the golf course. (Toronto Airport area)

I will be getting a group booking for a hotel beside the Golf Course which will be close for us to go out for a group diner and drinks on Saturday night.

Format: (Match Play)

Scramble:

Both players tee off and both players play from the better of the two shots. Preferred lie for scramble

Best Ball:

Both players play their own ball for the entire hole, the best NET score of the two players is used for that hole. Preferred lie on your own fairway only.

Alternate Shot:

Both players tee off, the better of the two shots is chosen then each shot is alternate between both players-including duffs! Preferred lie on your own fairway only. (you can change your Balls)

Net Singes:

Players decide who plays who. (if undecided - low with low high with high) Players must count up all their handicap holes from their handicap for the final nine. i.e. 13 handicap circles all 13 handicap holes and gets a stroke were ever they fall on the back nine. With this format double the points can be made from each team. Preferred lie on your own fairway only.

Teams:

Teams will consist of 12- 16 players with equal total handicaps. (6-8 "teams")

Pairings:

Teams of 2 will be playing with other teams of 2 with close to equal handicap totals.

Scoring:

½ point for tie / 9 holes, 1 point for a win / 9 holes – Group with most points wins!

Skins:

There will be a Net and Gross skins games for each team from the respective "groups". This is an option at $10 per player. (max 1 stroke/hole). There will be `NET and "GROSS" skins.

Prizes:
Closest to pin on all par 3's, Long drive front & Back.

Winning Group wins $960.00 as well as the Ryder Cup Trophy for a YEAR. (based on 36 Golfers)

Sundays score will also count towards an Optional singles event!
($10/player to Cash Pot!)

IN CASE OF A TIE THE TEAM CAPTAINS TEAMS WILL PLAY IN A PLAY OFF
